ABOUT

Dr. Yousefi is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and has broad experience in both fields. Dr. Yousefi incorporates prevention, diagnosis and treatment for all his patients. He completed a degree in biology from UCLA. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. During his residency training, he enjoyed the long-term relationship with his patients and developed a passion for rheumatology. He proceeded to complete his rheumatology fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in 2002.

He is a clinical instructor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine and has taught medical students, residents, and fellows since 2002. He has helped author textbook chapters and many scientific articles. He has been active in the past on hospital committees and local medical foundations. He has served as a national and regional speaker and consultant for many commercial, educational and humanitarian groups. He is a Qualified medical evaluator (QME) and is certified by the Division of Workers' Compensation - Medical Unit to examine injured workers. He has been listed as a top rheumatologist by Los Angeles Magazine.
